A monthly reading and discussion group focusing on topics in history, culture, and the humanities.
The group meets first Thursdays at 7pm (except September) and is led by guest scholars. Copies of each month's book are available at the front desk, no library card required.
This program has received funding from Utah Humanities (UH). UH improves communities through active engagement in the humanities.
P/K Book Group is a monthly book club for kids, ages 7-16, and their grownups. Discussions are held the second Thursday of each month at 4pm and 7pm.
Attendees may pick up a copy of the current month's book from the front desk, no library card needed. Themed snacks are provided and registration is required.

A book discussion group for writers, held 3 times annually, featuring books about writing technique, structure, plot elements, etc. Past titles have included Steering the Craft by Ursula Le Guin and On Writing by Stephen King.

Book Buzz is a state-wide book club service. Private groups can request up to 15 copies of a book from Utah's State Library (USL). Sets are mailed to your local library and check out for 5-6 weeks (8 weeks total with mailing time).
Book Buzz borrowers must pay return postage (mailed at USPS "library rate"). Postage on a set of 15 hardcover books usually costs less than $25.
